Modern Luxury Interiors Los Angeles

LUXE Interiors + Design featured The Luxury Kitchen founder Sherry Gvili in their Influential Women of Design section, highlighting her journey from 23-year industry veteran to showroom owner and her vision of creating a premier destination that fosters community within the Los Angeles design industry.

An excerpt from the article appears below.

When an individual is immensely passionate about their craft, a craving for expansion and specialization often calls. Take Sherry Gvili as an example. After spending 23 years as a territory manager for Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove in Southern California, she recognized the need for Los Angeles designers, architects and homeowners to have a more local environment for exploring appliances. In 2022, that vision became reality with the opening of The Luxury Kitchen.

“We are a premier showroom on the Westside, showcasing the
best-in-class luxury brands and fostering a sense of community within the design industry,” Gvili says. “To facilitate meaningful connections, we have initiated monthly happy hours, offering a friendly and welcoming space for professionals to gather, experience our products and engage authentically.” Alongside these signature experiences, The Luxury Kitchen has quickly become beloved for its impressive live kitchen.

Inspo From Every Corner

Gvili finds ample motivation from exploring the content of thought leaders and fellow design industry pros. She shares a few key sources of inspiration.

  • Bob Riggs, the former president of Riggs Distributing in Southern California, is a one-of-a-kind legend who taught me the paramount importance of genuine human connection within this business.
  • On Instagram, I find influence from the top minds in the trade, including @ryansaghian, @kellywearstler, @adamhunter, @brigetteromanek and @natashabaradaran.
  • Both Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg and 10x Is Easier Than 2x: How World-Class Entrepreneurs Achieve More by Doing Less by Dr. Benjamin Hardy and Dan Sullivan are books that had a profound impact on me.
